BAMBINI
BAMBIN ROOM
Our Bambini classroom offers a rich and engaging preschool experience where children develop concentration, problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of self. Through hands-on Montessori materials, children are guided to explore language, mathematics, culture, and the world around them at their own pace.

A PREPARED ENVIRONMENT FOR PUPOSEFUL LEARNING
The Bambini classroom is a carefully prepared environment where children engage in meaningful, hands-on learning. Through Montessori materials, children explore early mathematics concepts including counting, number recognition, addition, subtraction, and as they progress, multiplication and division. Language development is supported through phonics, sounds, reading, and writing, while areas such as geography help children build an understanding of the wider world.

BUILDING REAL-LIFE SKILLS
Practical life is a key part of the Bambini environment. Children take part in everyday activities such as cleaning, food preparation, baking, and caring for their surroundings. These experiences build independence, coordination, responsibility, and confidence, while helping children feel capable and connected to their environment.

LEARNING IN AOTEAOROA
Within our Bambini environment, we embrace the cultural context of Aotearoa by fostering a strong sense of belonging, respect, and connection. Children are encouraged to care for their environment and develop meaningful relationships, with material the aligns and reflects with both Montessori principles and the values of Te Whāriki.

SUPPORTING LIFE-LONG LEARNING
The Bambini years lay the foundation for future learning. Through sustained concentration, repetition, and discovery, children develop strong academic foundations alongside independence, resilience, and a genuine love of learning.
"The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence"
